We require enthusiastic, energetic and friendly faces to join our Volunteer Team for Outlook 2013.

Outlook Festival volunteers need to be on site and available to work between Wednesday 28 August and Monday 2 September 2013.

Volunteers will be asked to pay a £135 deposit (+£8 booking fee), which will be refunded by 31st October 2013, on the successful completion of 3 x 8 hour shifts.

The volunteer package includes *

• x3 Shifts (approx 8hours each)
• x1 Food token per shift
• x4 Nights of free camping

Although we will do our best to keep groups of friends working similar times of day please be aware that we cannot guarantee this.

If you’re looking to develop your experience in Event Management we offer a range of flexible pre-event placements at various points throughout the year. Placements are generally 3 months in length, London-based and unpaid.

We have now filled all our placements for the 2013 events – thank you to all those who applied.

Once registered you will be entered onto our database of candidates to contact in the autumn, when the full placement schedule for 2014 has been devised.

The MST scheme involves a 2.5 week on-site placement, with roles in various areas of operations and event management available, this is a great way to develop your existing skills and knowledge, helping you bridge the gap between volunteering and staff roles.

The MST scheme is not for the work-shy; hours will be long and pressure will be high. You will be expected to learn quickly, think on your feet, be resourceful and independent in your approach to work.

• Relevant experience is essential.
• Previous festival experience is preferred, but not necessary.
• A keen and proactive approach to working within festivals and events is vital.

Reps can earn themselves all sorts of perks by selling tickets for Outlook. In exchange for selling 9 tickets you will earn a free ticket for yourself, for every ticket over 9 you earn £5 commision per ticket PLUS if you sell 25 tickets you get two boat party tickets!

• When promoting the festival online and advertising tickets for sale the TS must NOT:
  • Create any social media events, groups or website pages that resemble official Outlook online communication. NVS advises that any events, groups or pages on sites such as Facebook contain the full name of the TS to denote third party ticket sales as the interest behind it.
  • Post on official Outlook online arenas, including but not limited to Facebook (Groups, Events Photos & Pages), Twitter, Official Website, Instagram, online forums etc.
• When promoting the festival with physical promotional material the TS must NOT:
  • Hand out distribution material without the correct or relevant licenses to do so, if applicable.
  • Fix any promotional material to building interior or exteriors without correct consent of the proprietor.
• When Promoting the festival the TS must act as a representative of Outlook Festival and act in a responsible, courteous and professional manner at all times.
• Online codes will be valid until May 1st, at which point NVS has the right to pull the tickets off sale irrespective of the number of tickets sold by TS at that moment.
• Festival Tickets will be sold at standard retail price of £135 +bf.
