Oliver Jones aka Skream is a production power house and one of the biggest names in Dubstep. Born in Bromley, Jones spent much of his youth in a record shop in Croydon called Big Apple. It was here that he met Benga, Hatcha and Artworks. Having produced since the age of 15, Skream’s break-through came in 2005 with ‘Midnight Request Line’.
Labels like Tempa, Big Apple and tectonic have released his revered and high powered music. In 2009 Skream remixed ‘In for the Kill’ by La Roux. This remix saw plenty of air time on Radio 1 and exposed his name to a massive audience. Now part of Magnetic Man, Skream has seen clubs and festivals all over the world.
